I read that the Brighter Days infoshop (the physical store, not lj community) isn't open anymore. Did it move, and if so could anyone tell me its new address? I might be in Lansing this summer and I'd love to check it out...

After much drama, we finally received 10 copies of the book "The Coming of Black Genocide" in the mail today. They need to be rebound, which i will try to get done by wednesday. Because we only have a very limited number of books avaiable (we will make photocopies if necessary), please email me to reserve your copy.
I will send out another email once the books are ready.

This book should result in some interesting discussion, we're looking forward to it.

to subscribe to the infoshop book club list, send an email to lansing_bookclub-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.

more about "The Coming of Black Genocide": The Coming of Black Genocide and other essays. Writings from the groundbreaking radical feminist newspaper Bottomfish Blues that came out of NYC in the late eighties. While at times closer to a rant than a detailed analysis, it nevertheless manages to contain more of substance than a lot of what passes for liberatory theory theseadays. 124 pages, Published by Vagabond Press (from activedistribution.org)
